The Kingdom of Bhutan, located in the majestic Himalayan mountain range has been voluntarily isolated from the rest of the world for centuries.

In 1974 the government of Bhutan decided, with the necessary restrictions and so much distrust to open the “doors” to the external world.
Since then, tourists have been able to enjoy uncontaminated environment, its beautiful landscapes and amazing architecture.

The people are very hospitable, genuine, authentic, strongly linked to the Buddhist culture and away from the setting of profit and consumer system typical of the rest of the world, though rich in natural resources it remains a country among the poorest in Asia.
